The Slatington Marketplace is located in the former Keystone Lamp building along Route 873 in Washington Township, PA, just north of Slatington. We are within 30 minutes’ driving distance from Bethlehem, Allentown, Center Valley, and two PA Turnpike exits, making us an easy destination for customers coming as far as the Philadelphia area, New York, New Jersey as well as the Poconos. We do extensive print advertising along with regular radio ads, special events, and daily Facebook posts. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, we will gladly provide you with examples of our advertising promotions. At present, we have 150+ vendors occupying 200+ spaces, and we are continuing to grow. We feature antiques, collectibles & vintage items pre-1960. No flea market or new items will be accepted.
To further our mission of being the premier antique mall in the region, The Slatington Marketplace is offering the opportunity to rent two commercial units attached to the Market complex. Each unit is +/- 1,100 square feet and offers a unique opportunity to capitalize on the tens of thousands of patrons the Market draws annually, while maintaining their independence and distinctive character.
We are now seeking tenants for these units and offering to work with potential long-term tenants on specific fit out of their unique business. You are not required to be in your stand and do not need to commit to working any hours. We require 3 months for the initial lease, and then the spaces are leased on a month to month basis. You will receive an email every day that you make a sale and an update of your monthly sales every Sunday.
Spaces rent for $1.75 per square foot, our most popular size is 10' by 10' for $175 per month. There are a limited number of smaller spaces available. Rent is due on the first of the month. There is a 5% fee for sales at our front desk to cover our bank & merchant services fees.
You are required to have a PA sales tax #; however, we collect the tax at our front desk & pay the PA Sales Tax for all of our vendors under the Marketplace tax ID#. If you do not have a number, we will assist you. There is no fee to apply for a tax ID number.
As part of the creation of the Slatington Farmers Market on the south end of campus, SMP has created a new vendor area, and built 35 new booths for vendors. This allows new vendors to create their own space consistent with the style and quality of existing booths, and within the rules and regulations of SMP. Apply below!
